A meeting dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Azerbaijan-UN partnership was held in Shusha on March 18. The event was attended by high-ranking state and government officials of the Republic of Azerbaijan, UN Resident Coordinator and heads of UN agencies in Azerbaijan.
The main purpose of the Shusha meeting was to create a favorable platform for reviewing the path of the Azerbaijan-UN partnership towards the Sustainable Development Goals, to discuss Azerbaijan's new priorities and opportunities in the realities of postpandemic and post-conflict.
In addition, a postage stamp dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Azerbaijan-UN relations was presented.
The meeting continued with panel meetings.
The holding of the meeting dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Azerbaijan-UN partnership, which includes multifaceted cooperation, in Shusha has a special symbolic meaning. Besides being the cultural capital of Azerbaijan, Shusha is now a symbol of the region's reconstruction, progress and victory.
