In accordance with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev and based on the "First State Program on the Great Return," 51 families consisting of 208 people, who had temporarily resided in dormitories, sanatoriums, pioneer camps, unfinished buildings, and administrative facilities in various regions of the Republic, have been provided with housing in their native city of Shusha after 32 years.
The key handover ceremony for the new apartments was attended by Elshad Iskandarov, Chief Advisor to the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Shusha district; Vugar Maharramov, Deputy Executive Director of the Shusha City State Reserve Administration; representatives of the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons; and staff from the Special Representation, the Reserve Administration, the Karabakh Regional Employment Agency, and ANAMA.
The residents of Shusha, who returned to their homeland, expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, prayed for Allah’s mercy upon our martyrs who gave their lives to restore the territorial integrity of our country, wished patience to their families, and extended their thanks to the brave soldiers and officers of the Victorious Azerbaijani Army.
