Our Olympic judo champions in Shusha.
Within the framework of the “First State Program on the Great Return to the Liberated Territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan”, on August 23, 2025, our Olympic judo champions Elnur Mammadli, Hidayat Heydarov, and Zelim Kotsoev visited the city of Shusha. During the visit, our Olympic champions held a meeting with the participation of employees of the Shusha City State Reserve Department, local residents, and members of the “Shusha” sports club, and took commemorative photos.
The main purpose of these meetings, implemented at the initiative of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, is to provide moral support to our citizens currently living in their native land.

The 5th anniversary of our Victory and Shusha City Day were celebrated in Shusha. Under the leadership of the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, the Triumphant Azerbaijani Army achieved a historic Victory on November 8, 2020. Shusha—the cradle of Azerbaijani culture—was liberated from the occupiers.
