President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva visited Shusha

On August 29, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev reviewed the final completion of the Victory Road.

Mr. President Ilham Aliyev reviewed the final completion of the Ahmadbeyli-Fuzuli-Shusha Zafar road. It was reported that the length of the two- or three-lane road is 101 kilometers. Asphalt-concrete pavement has already been laid on the 92-kilometer section of the road. Work is underway in other parts. Bridges and underpasses have been built along the road.

The Ahmadbayli-Fuzuli-Shusha highway, built under the leadership of Supreme Commander-in-Chief to perpetuate the path used by our glorious army to liberate the city of Shusha, the cultural center of our country, has been named the Victory Road by President Ilham Aliyev.

During the visit, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva inaugurated the "Karabakh" Hotel in Shusha, the capital of culture of Azerbaijan.

Restoration work is underway in the administrative building where the Special Representative will be located in Shusha. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and
First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva got acquainted with the restoration work carried out in the administrative building.

Then, with the participation of the President and First Lady, a bronze bust of the great Azerbaijani poet and public figure Molla Panah Vagif was erected with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The opening took place.

Then, President Ilham Aliyev laid the foundation of the Hotel and Conference Center.

On August 29, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva were presented the master plan of Shusha.
