The Shusha City State Reserve Department organized a training seminar for the faculty members and students of the Tourism Department of Karabakh University.
Within the framework of the “World Tourism Workers’ Day,” from October 26 to 28, 2025, the Department of Tourism Development of the Shusha City State Reserve held the 1st scientific-practical training seminar on the topic of “Tourism Destination” for the faculty members and students of the Tourism Department of Karabakh University.
During the three-day training seminar (workshop), in addition to lectures, participants learned research methods related to studying and utilizing tourism potential. A field visit to the city of Shusha was also organized to analyze it as a tourism destination.
The main goal of the seminar was to strengthen cooperation between universities, the tourism industry, and government institutions, to support the development of future tourism professionals, and to prepare proposals for the analysis and development of Shusha as a tourism destination. The participants presented their analyses and recommendations.
At the end of the seminar, 37 participants were awarded certificates for completing the training.
A military parade was held in Shusha to mark the 5th anniversary of the Victory.
