As in all regions of our republic, Eid al-Adha was also celebrated in the city of Shusha.

In the Shusha district, the victims were slaughtered with the joint organization of the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Shusha City Administration of the State Reserve and the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency (AFSA). During the slaughter of the sacrificial animals, the Karabakh regional branch of the AFSA monitored compliance with veterinary and sanitary rules.

In the Shusha district, the rams were slaughtered and distributed to newly resettled families. The residents of Shusha, who celebrated Eid al-Adha in their homeland for the first time in 32 years, wished God to accept the sacrifices made on this dear day and expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva.
