June 26 - Day of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan was celebrated in the city of Shusha. Aydin Karimov, the special representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Tural Novruzov, the executive director of the Shusha City State Reserve Department, met with veterans of the First and Second Karabakh Wars, members of our glorious army, and families of martyrs over tea in the new residential complex in Shusha district.
The cherished memory of those who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan was honored with a minute of silence.
The special representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Karimov spoke about June 26 - Armed Forces Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the establishment of this significant day, and the victory of our armed forces in the 44-day Patriotic War under the leadership of our Commander-in-Chief, Mr. Ilham Aliyev. He highlighted the courage and bravery of our armed forces and expressed the pride felt in celebrating this holiday with the people in Shusha.
