The event "Days of Shusha" ended with an interesting and memorable night on June 7 at the headquarters of "ICESCO" in Rabat, organized by the Shusha City State Reserve Department, the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom of Morocco, ICESCO and the State Tourism Agency. Aydin Kerimov, Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Shusha district, Salim bin Muhammad al-Malik, Director General of "ICESCO", Nazim Samadov, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Morocco, Murad Agabeyli, Chairman of the Reserves Department of the Center of the State Tourism Agency, Executive Director of the Special Mission Tural Novruzov, the event was attended by the employees of the reserve, as well as ambassadors of various countries accredited in Morocco, officials of "ICESCO", representatives of government agencies. First, a viewing of a photo exhibition presented by the Azerbaijan State News Agency - "AZERTAC" took place. Various photographs reflecting the historical past of Shusha, the pre-war and post-war state, restoration and reconstruction works, mysterious nature were exhibited here, and information was given about each of them.
Then the guests were shown the Karabakh national costumes of the 18th-19th centuries and were given information about their history.
In the culinary section of the event, it was noted that the Karabakh region, with its unique climatic conditions and history of formation, as well as the geography of unique products of the national cuisine of Azerbaijan, especially the cuisine of our cradle of culture Shusha, occupies a unique place in world gastronomy. The menu, glorifying the common aspects of Shusha cuisine and Moroccan cuisine, consists of stuffed seeds, weed kebab, oven, colored stew, Karabakh ketesi, basil syrup. Also, within the framework of the cultural program of the intangible cultural heritage of Shusha, a menu was presented, served in national cooking devices, such as tandoor. The guests, who had the opportunity to taste Shusha cuisine, were also introduced to the tourist gastronomic routes of our country.
The journey dedicated to our Karabakh and Shusha continued with a concert program. Before the concert, the Director General of “ICESCO” Salim bin Muhammad al-Malik, the special representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Shusha region Aydin Kerimov, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Morocco Nazim Samadov spoke about the importance of the “Days of Shusha” and the revival of the historical city, which was under occupation for 30 years, spoke about the importance of each international event held in Shusha.
Then the floor was given to famous figures of the arts of Azerbaijan. The concert program, presented after the showing of a video dedicated to our Shusha, included songs glorifying Karabakh and Shusha, and our national dances were performed by members of the State Dance Ensemble of Azerbaijan.
