The next "Vagif" Poetry Days, organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Ministry of Culture, have kicked off in Shusha. On July 18, the opening ceremony of the event was held in front of the Molla Panah Vagif Museum and Mausoleum Complex. The opening ceremony was attended by state and government representatives, including the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan Adil Kerimov, the chief adviser of the special representation of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Shusha region Elshad Iskandarov and the executive director of the Shusha city state administration. For the first time, the event was attended by representatives of the Tural Novruzov Reserve, famous figures of science and culture of the republic, members of the Writers' Union of Azerbaijan, poets, as well as residents of the Shusha region. The program included musical works "Karabakh Composition", "Shushan Daglari" and "Bura Vatandir". The event continued with the presentation of the composition "Cells of Fizuli" in front of the house of the khan's daughter Khurshidbanu Nateva. The lesson of modern poetry "Sozun Vatani-Karabakh" and the ethno-jazz concert were met with interest by the audience. The poetry days "Vagif" will continue on July 19 in Shusha.
